Branding is the trademark creation process; it is the strategy to be followed to discover the assets related to a commercial name and its logotype. Many factors take part in such process, and such factors must interact smoothly. Standing out is becoming increasingly difficult. The key lies in the power of the trademark as a distinguishing feature. Such differentiation is based on the clear identification of intangibles such as value, singularity and credibility.

TRADEMARK

A trademark is not a logotype; a trademark is all that people think of you, how they see you, which emotions you arise, and what people tell others about you. It determines the very essence of your company.

LOGOTYPE

A logotype is a group of signs, letters, shapes and colors conveying the identity of a company or a product. First and foremost, it must be different from any other, easy to remember and simple. Less is more!





Naming

Many times new businesses need help creating a fantasy name for their brand. “Naming” is the creation of a name that represents a company and transmits the brand's values. It is very important to search for unique names. We must verifiy that no other company or person has a similar trademark registered before requesting registration with INPI (in Argentina), especially if it belongs to the same product or business category.

If the name matches a pre-existing and already registered trademark, it will not be possible to register it as your own. Once we verify that there are no matches with already registered names, we can proceed to the registration process. Once the process is finished, you can access the benefits granted by law to make exclusive use of the brand and protect it. In Argentina, registered trademarks are valid for a period of ten years.
